I love watching the old monkees

Hey everybody !! I'm only 13 years old,
but I am a MAJOR fan of the Monkees. I especially like Peter Tork and
Michael Nesmith. If I had to choose between them, though, I'd pick Mike.
I love everything about him !! If he were a chocalate sundae, I'd eat him
up right there !! Well, to tell you the truth, I'd do that with Peter too.
Mike has the most perfect features. He has great eyes, a great hair, and I
loved that wool cap ! It looked so cute on him !! Some other things are
his smile, and his lips, and his laugh, oh, and his beautiful, jet black
hair. Some good things about Peter is his laugh, his gorgeous, golden
hair, his smile, and his button nose. ( it buttons over his lower lip !! )
Well, I guess I love all the Monkees. Micky for his voice, Davy for his

The Monkees are one of the best
bands ever! Some people think that they were just trying to be like The
Beatles, which, can you balme them? But, the Beatles never had their own
show!! I have had a crush on Davy Jones ever since I was really young. I

I thin ksince I
have not been in here for a while it is time for me to tell a story. A
story a my fame and fortune. After the story u the reader may try to guess
who I am. MY frist job was as a mexican circus acrobat. I traveled with
them everyday for years, then at my last performance i fell from the high
beam and I broke me legs. After that the circus said that I was no longer
any use to them so they fired me. I felt terrible so I went to my good
friend Bob Saget and he gave me some advice. He told me to go into show
buiz and that I had the talent to win! So after me legs healed I got a job
on broadway in a play. I was the staring role in the musical A Tale of Two
Cities. That lasted a while but then it was over and I was where I had been
before. I went back to Bob and he got me a a contract to song country
music. I made a few hits but it was not enough for me to live on. After my
contract was u[p I became a waiter. I waitted there for a few months and
then I wsa discovered to play a role in a hit tv show.

Watched the Monkees when I was in grade

I fell
in love with Davy Jones at the ripe old age of 4. I unsuccessfully tried to
mail him a marriage proposal without an envelope or stamp, which my Dad
eventually fetched out of the mailbox and told me if I was to mail a
letter, I better have used the proper methods! Well, needless to say,
today, at age 33, I still love the Monkees, and Davy, of course. Last
year, when Davy and Micky performed here in Florida at an oldies concert, I
had one of my dreams come true and had a picture taken with Davy, thanks to
my husband, who took the picture! And may I say that Davy, (I hope you will
get to read this some time) my deepest admiration goes out to you for
taking the time to sign autographs for EVERY person who waited outside
after the concert for you. It was early hours in the morning when this
occurred and then when you were about to leave, you asked the crowd,
"Has everybody gotten what they wanted?" Davy, you're great!!

When I was 4 years old I
watched the Monkees every day after Pre-Kinder. I was in love with Davy
because he was the closest to my height. The show was off the air for a
long time and we weren't able to see it on another channels because Puerto
Rico doesn't get alot of the American cable channels. Now at 17 years old
I am proud to say "We have the Monkees again!!!!". (And I still
love Davy)

I have been a Monkees fan for 31 years. I would like to
know why you cancelled your concert in Casper, Wyo. in 1986? I waited for
years to be able to get tickets for a concert and then it was cancelled. I
was devestated, but I am still a fan. I wish you would have a concert in
Wyoming.

fans! It's great to see so many of you! Most people I know
are so busy trying to keep up with what's "cool", that they would

I
still remember when I was just a kid, my two girlfriends and I would get
together each week to watch The Monkees. We would go to the store to get a
pop and a snack. Marilyn's parents and brothers would exit the living room
so that we could flip out on our own. We never missed a show. We planted
lots of kisses on the television screen, we screamed a lot and would get up
and dance during the singing. I am 41 now and whenever I hear one of their
songs, all the words come back and I feel like I am 11 years old again.
What a wonderful memory. Hope to see them here in Minnesota! o

I love all the monkees. Davy is my
favorite. My mother got me hooked when I was a little girl. Davy was her
favorite, too. I'm 28. I saw Davy, Micky, and Peter in concert in West Palm
Beach back in Jan. 97 at the South FL. Fair. They were great. I just wish
my mother could have saw them also. I hope they do another concert in
Central FL this year. I would love to see them again.

been a Monkees fan for many years. I watched every episode when the show
was on the first time on TV. I watch it now on Nick at Night, VH1 and
whoever else will show the old shows! I was lucky enough to see them in

Monkees since I was 14 years old. I am delighted to say that my 15 year old
son William has become a devout Monkees fan also (with no prompting from
me.)I am really enjoying listening to all the old songs again and watching
the TV series.William has asked for the new CD Justus for his birthday on
July 28th. I can't wait to hear it. I have promised William that I will
take him to see the Monkees if they ever come to Australia. I screamed my
way through a concert in Adelaide in 1968 and would enjoy a more sedate
repeat in the near future.

Well, we are loading up our four little Monkee Maniacs (ages
3-8) into the family van and driving five hours south to the Monkees
concert at Pine Knob on Aug 6th. My husband and I enjoyed our first Monkees
concert last summer and I was in total heaven, after waiting 30 years to
see them. We promised our boys that if the Monkees returned to Michigan
this summer that we would take them to the concert, no matter how far away.
Glad to hear all the rave reviews from other concert go-ers this year.

1986 comeback. It was something because it was something my mom and I
could share. She was the same age as I was when she became a fan when the
show first aired. We even liked the same Monkee (Micky). Well, now it's

became a fan in 1980. I believe the Monkees' legacy is that they bring
different people to a common ground. At least, they did that for me. My
summer of love has lasted for seventeen years! Peter Tork is my favorite
Monkee, and a role model. The way with which he has always handled his
sometimes turbulent life with guts and grace has long been an inspiration
to me. The Monkees have been described as a camp phenomenon, but I contend.
What I learned of friendship, comraderie and never-say-die ambition I
learned from watching their show. The Monkees have left an indelible mark
on this world, to be experienced by future generations. That's a sign that
good prevails...

I saw the Monkees in Phoenix on
July 19 and of course they were FABULOUS! It was in the Celebrity Theater,
which is "in the round" and has a revolving stage (I don't think
Micky liked the stage very much). I've been to two other Monkees shows, a
long time ago in Phoenix and another in Columbia Md. and this recent one
was the BEST!!!! I regressed about 25 years... *sigh* Guys, if you are

in Louisville on the 26th. I saw the Monkees in Memphis last year and they
were great! I've been a fan since 1966 and it was fantastic to see the
